Zensor Installation Guide

The Easy Install option has been designed to facilitate a swift and effortless setup of Zensors, without requiring any supplementary configuration or installation of supporting software. It is important to note that only one Easy Install can be executed on a single computer.

You can install a Zensors on the following OS:

• Windows
• Debian
• Red Hat
• Mac

Major Steps:

1. Log in to your dashboard using the secret credentials that were provided to you.
   
2. In the left-side panel, click on the "Management Section" and then "Zensors".
   
3. In the Zensors section, click on the "Add Zensor" button.
   
4. Please review the major steps, then click "Continue" to proceed.
   
5. Select an Endpoint Group example (e.g., Finance, IT). **Group names should be alphanumeric and not exceed 10 characters in length.
   
6. Please select the operating system and corresponding OS architecture from the drop-down menus below and click on 'Continue' to proceed.
   
7. Run the installation commands from "Install via CLI".
   
8. To execute the commands on Microsoft Windows, you should run them in PowerShell after granting administrative privileges.
   
9. To run commands in a Linux-based kernel, one must open the terminal and execute them.
   
10. To run the copied command in a Mac OS, open the Terminal application and enter it.
    

NOTE

To ensure secure communication with our Zensor agent, it is important to enable self-signed certificate validation for the domain <domain-provided>.securezeron.com. This is because our Zensor agent utilizes a self-signed certificate for its communications.
